Student Visa
The Canadian Student Visa program stands as a pivotal element within Canada's immigration landscape, offering a pathway for international students to pursue education in this diverse and academically renowned nation. Governed by immigration laws, the program ensures a structured and transparent process for individuals aspiring to enroll in Canadian educational institutions. Applicants are required to meet specific eligibility criteria, including proof of acceptance from a designated learning institution (DLI), adequate financial resources, and a genuine intent to return home upon completion of their studies. This program reflects Canada's commitment to fostering a globalized and inclusive education system, attracting bright minds from around the world. By facilitating international students' temporary residence, Canada not only enriches its academic environment but also strengthens its cultural and economic ties with the global community.
*Short Term Study:
You don’t need a study permit for a course or study program that lasts 6 months or less. However, getting a study permit when you don’t need one has benefits, such as being allowed to work or extending your studies duration and program.
You still need a valid travel document (electronic travel authorization or visitor visa) to come to Canada. You must get a study permit if you want to study for longer than 6 months.
